I was reading through this one at a slower pace than the previous two. The reason being, besides me falling asleep earlier than I’m used to, that I found most of the storylines a little bit dragged out. But that being said, I understand, how it needed the build-up for all the staff going on in A storm of swords 2.(I am currently just about halfway through). I suppose a good build up is what makes a story truly epic.
Anyway, yeah, the series, still amazing, and what matters most, still a perfect escape.
I found that the Goodreads page treats A storm of swords 1 and 2 as the same book, so read at your own risk
